Israeli MP Moshe Feiglin hosts the event (Tikva Mahabad, Epoch Times Israel)

Israeli Parliament members watched the award-winning documentary "Free China: The Courage to Believe" for the first time on April 24th. The film tells the story of two people who were tortured in China for their beliefs.

The film set the tone for a discussion in the "Jerusalem" hall of the Knesset about Chinese regime''s persecution of the Falun Gong spiritual group.

Israeli Parliament member from the "Likud" Party, Moshe Feiglin, organized the event with the "Liberal Lobby" he founded. One of the Lobby''s goals is to defend human rights globally.

[Moshe Feiglin, Knesset Member, Chairman of the Liberal Lobby]:
"Today, a message was sent from the Israeli Knesset. Judaism and the Israeli Knesset cannot live along horrors like those, happening anywhere in the world."

Some of the Knesset members changed their schedules in order to attend the screening. They shared their thoughts after watching Free China. The film exposes slave labor, torture, and forced organ harvesting under the Chinese regime.

[Rabbi Dov Lipman, Knesset Member, Yesh Atid Party]:
"After few minutes I asked myself, ''how is it possible that we are living in a world where people suffer things like this, and no one talks about it."

Knesset members at the event are from across the political spectrum—left and right. For some, it was the first time they had heard about the atrocities that Falun Gong practitioners have suffered under the Chinese regime.

[Tamar Zendberg, Knesset Member, Merez Party]:
"It is an universal matter for groups and individuals to fight against an abusive regime. No doubt, this happens in China as well."

Chairman of the Liberal Lobby, Moshe Feiglin, thanked the audience at the end of the event.

[Moshe Feiglin, Knesset Member, Chairman of the Liberal Lobby]:
"The Israeli Knesset in Jerusalem will continue to monitor those acts of horror and to avoid this persecution, this enslavement and to ensure freedom for the world."

Participants of the Liberal Lobby called on the Chinese regime to stop forced the organ harvesting.
